I’m Lou Ann, a practitioner offering psychology-informed sound therapy and creative workshops to support nervous system regulation, calm, and reconnection. My work is grounded, evidence-aware, and deeply human — created for people who are ready to slow down and feel safe enough to rest.
This work grew from lived experience. Anxiety once shaped my inner world, but through learning, presence, and practice, that state no longer defines how I live. Parenthood, life as a woman over forty, and a lifelong relationship with music have all informed how I understand regulation, resilience, and the body’s natural capacity to return to balance through sound and creativity.
At Gumnut & Earthchild, sound sessions combine sound, rhythm, and gentle structure with real presence and attunement. These are not escape-based experiences, but grounded spaces where the nervous system is supported to settle, restore, and reconnect — at its own pace.
This space is for women, men, parents, and members of the wider community seeking calm, wellness, relaxation, and meaningful connection — both within themselves and with the world around them.
